Junior Achievement USA® (www.JA.org) has teamed up with volunteers to help publicize their brand across the country. JA tells the public what it is like to volunteer with this program and how rewarding it will be for anyone who does.
This PSA Campaign consists of videos titled “Empowerment,” “A Changing World,” and “What Is Success?” In the PSA, both women and men volunteers speak about their experiences at JA, taking on an emotional and heartfelt approach to inspire people to volunteer and become a mentor. One states, “You volunteer… get the chance to change a life or two… I’d call that success.”
JA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Today, millions of children do not have access to the role models that they need in helping them to succeed and overcome issues such as peer pressure and economic instability.
JA matches interested adults with local schools to deliver life-changing experiences to students in communities across the country. By volunteering for a few hours in a classroom, role models may allow children to realize their full potential and allow the success they may have believed was unachievable.
JA is available in 109 communities in the United States. JA emphasizes the importance of allowing children the learning environment and mentoring they deserve, making this a key point in the PSA videos. Volunteers are speaking from the heart and letting the public know just how important and rewarding it is to become a role model at JA USA.
